With our passion for high-quality shoemaking Conker has continued a tradition of British craftsmanship since 1977. We make bespoke leather shoes, using a stitch down construction, that are produced exclusively by us, here in Devon. They are not made anywhere else in the world.
We believe that timeless design is always for now and that true beauty gets better with age. Each pair of shoes has been meticulously crafted by our small team located in the vibrant town of Totnes in the South West of England.

Also, when your shoes fit correctly, you are not stressing and damaging the leather which means your shoes should last much longer. Combine this with high-quality materials and natural rubber soling you then have sustainable shoes for life. Our shoes have been designed and are constructed in such a way that they make the best use of natural resources available. They can also be resoled and repaired when needed, meaning your shoes last longer and impact less on the planet.

As well as offering an inclusive Ready To Wear collection here in our Totnes shop, we also make to order and ship all over the globe. Sustainability, through conscientious use of natural materials and longevity of product, is at the heart of what we do.
We care about you and your feet: put your best foot forward with a great pair of shoes! Once we have a size filed for you, ordering more pairs or having your old pair re-soled (rebuilt in fact) is easy. We know your fitting and last specification and will have these easily to hand should you visit us in person, or contact us remotely for a new pair.
Personalise your shoes
Choose from over 30 styles and 40 different colours! We are happy to send leather samples to you if you would prefer to see them in real life and can’t come to visit us. You can also choose the stitching colour, the inner sole colour and the sole that suits you the best – shoes made especially for you.
