Shoe Returns
For standard-sized made to order shoes, we will alter, remake or refund the cost if they are returned to us unworn and in a saleable condition within 28 days. We do not cover the cost of postage unless an item is proved to be faulty.
If you are unsure of the fit please wear them around the house first. If they aren’t quite right please telephone us within 28 days on 01803 862490 or email us info@conkershoes.com. We will advise you on the next steps to take.
Shoes can not be returned if they have been worn outside and display any signs of wear.
Modified fitted shoes (non-standard size)
If there is an alteration that needs making we will alter or remake the shoes for you if they are returned to us unworn within 28 days of receiving them. Please note that sometimes modified shoes need adjusting after they have been made. If after two subsequent alterations to your shoes the fit is not to your satisfaction we will be happy to refund you the cost of the shoes. We will not refund the bespoke charge to cover our labour.
Sale Shoes
Shoes bought in the shop in our annual sale are non-returnable and are sold as seen.
Shoes bought online in our annual shoe sale can be returned. Please return them within 10 days of purchase.
Clothing returns for online purchases
Clothes bought online can be returned to us within 28 days of purchase for a refund or exchange. Please note we aren’t currently able to offer free returns. The cheapest way of posting your items back is by Royal Mail 2nd class.
Clothing returns for in store purchases
In addition to your legal rights, we can you offer an exchange or credit note on goods returned to us within 14 days of purchase. Goods may be exchanged for their in-store value at the time of return. Returned goods must be unused and in their unopened manufacturers packaging with proof of purchase within 14 days of purchase. Credit notes are not valid against sale items. Sale goods are not returnable.

Delivery times for shoes made to order
Your shoes are handmade to order and as a small team of three, we make a certain number of shoes at one time. We will advise you of your expected completion date when your order is placed. If you would like to know before you order, no problem, just contact us and we will tell you the current collection or posting date.
UK: Our lead time for shoes made to order is 3 – 4 weeks and at busy times it can be 4 – 6 weeks.
Europe, Eire, USA and Rest of the World: Our normal lead time for shoes made to order is around 3 – 4 weeks and at busy times it can be around 4 – 6 weeks. Please allow a little longer for international delivery.
Customs duties and fees are the responsibility of the recipient. International shipments are subject to duties and fees that vary by country and are based on the value of your order. The amount calculated depends on the destination country’s tax and valuation method.

UK Royal Mail Tracked – £7.50
UK Parcelforce Tracked, Insured and Signed For – £15
Europe and Eire = £22
USA and Rest of the World = £47
Delivery cost for accessories
Accessories that are ready made will be posted within 3 days of when the order is placed at a cost of £4.50 in the UK and £10 for Europe and EIRE.
Accessories
If we are hand-making your item to order delivery may take 2 – 3 weeks. If you are ordering accessories outside of Europe the charge will be £25. The amount not used on postage will then be refunded to you as we are unable to accurately price the cost of sending accessories depending on the location.
Local Pickup
Choose this option if you wish to pick up your items at our Totnes shop. We will email you when your items are ready to be collected, or give you a date for collection if your product needs to be made.
