Totnes is an Elizabethan market town in the heart of the beautiful South Hams, Devon. We are easy to reach by car, train, bus, boat or bicycle. Totnes railway station is less than 3 hours from London Paddington and reached by main line trains from the North. We are less than 10 minutes walk from the station or a quick taxi if you’d prefer not to climb the hill past our Norman Castle.
If coming by road, there is normal and Blue Badge on street parking opposite our shop. We are also within easy reach of the town centre car parks (aim for one nearer the top of town). We are four miles from the A38 between Exeter and Plymouth, so easy to reach and also easy to pop in if travelling to or from Cornwall. Totnes is the highest tidal point up stream on the River Dart and can be navigated by boat from Dartmouth.
If you’d like to make a weekend of it, Totnes offers a range of lovely accommodation in town and in the countryside. There is a caravan club site by the river and various B&Bs, Hotels and cottages.
